On August 8th, Ozark Radio Network was the sponsor for the weekly points races at Legit Speedway Park in West Plains.

Toby Thompson of Mtn. Grove came away the winner in the USRA B Mod competition, finishing ahead of Stephen Muilenburg of Sparta, who finished 2nd  and Bryan Judd of West Plains, who finished 3rd.  Thompson was on the pole for the 20 lap feature and led the entire race.

In the IMCA Modified division, it was #27B Matt Barry of West Plains coming away with the win. Barry, who started on the 3rd row, raced his way to the front on lap 13 and never relinquished the lead after that point. 2nd place went to season points leader Daryl Hay of Doniphan. The 3rd place finisher was Stephen Muilenburg of Sparta, MO.

In the Hobby Stock Division, #2 Kevin Collins of West Plains made his 2nd appearance in Victory Lane this season. After jumping into 6th place on the 1st lap from his outside 5th row starting position, Collins was able to finally run down #88 Darren Fox of Mtn. Grove who had led the entire race , taking the lead on lap 18. Fox finished in 2nd place with Mike Elliot of Ellsinore finishing in 3rd.  Corey Lambert of West Plains sits atop the points race with Darren Fox 36 points behind.

In the Super Stock Feature, #26 Donnie Miller of West Plains returned to the winners circle once again. Miller, who gained the pole position in the heat race, got out front and stayed there for the entire 20 lap feature. That win moved Miller into 1st place in the points standings ahead of 2nd place finisher #L18 Landon Clinton of Willow Springs. 3rd place in the Super Stock feature went to #96N Jeff North of West Plains.

The Late Model Feature saw Cole Wells of Aurora Mo come away with the win on the last half of the last lap. David Turner of Creighton had led for nearly the entire race but hit the wall at the pit entrance after lapped traffic forced him into the wall on the back stretch of the final lap. 2nd place went to Brad Looney of Republic and 3rd place to Joey Smith of Pomona. 4th went to Kaleb Stolba of Willow Springs, which was good enough to keep him in 1st place in the points standings.

#14 Ethan Rushin, from Poplar Bluff, Mo was once again in the winners circle in the Bone Stock Division. This was Ethan’s 2nd visit to Victory Lane in his inaugural season. The only other Bone Stock competitor for the night did not make the feature event, so Ethan made easy work of his Saturday night.
