NIGHT ONE NeSMITH LATE MODEL RACE AT I-75 RACEWAY RAINED OUT
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
SWEETWATER, TN – Heavy rain washed out the 40-lap $2,000-to-win NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series race Friday night at I-75 Raceway. The race will be rescheduled for a date to be announced. The Saturday night 50-lap $2,500-to-win race at I-75 Raceway will go on as scheduled.
The racing program began under threatening skies and only one hot session for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series was competed before the rain began to fall. The Saturday weather forecast for Sweetwater, TN is much more favorable for side-by-side racing action.
On Saturday, the pit gate opens at 4 p.m. with NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. with Hot Laps and Racing to follow.
