Zach Pringle Puts an Exclamation Point on Interstate Cup Title

Memphis, Tennessee (09/15/15) – The COMP Cams Interstate Cup presented by Dixon Road U-Pull-It held its final event of 2015 on Saturday night at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas), and Zach Pringle put an exclamation point on his title run by scoring the victory.

With twenty-one entries on hand the Little Rock, Arkansas driver won his heat race before wiring the field in the annual Sonny Sayre Memorial feature to claim his fifth series win of the year and his first-career, series title. A.G. Rains, Howard Moore, Tim Crawley, Cody Gardner, Kevin Hinkle, Andy McElhannon, Jeremy Middleton, Blake Jenkins, and Jordon Mallett completed the top ten in the final standings.

Fifty-four drivers entered at least one event during the season.

The payout and contingencies for the series are shown below and will be distributed at the 28th Annual COMP Cams Short Track Nationals at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on October 28th-31st.

1st – Zach Pringle: $2,000 PLUS $1,000 COMP Cams Gift Certificate & Trophy Cup
2nd – A.G. Rains: $1,500 PLUS $750 COMP Cams Gift Certificate
3rd – Howard Moore: $1,000 PLUS $500 COMP Cams Gift Certificate
4th – Tim Crawley: $800 PLUS $250 COMP Cams Gift Certificate
5th – Cody Gardner: $700 PLUS $125 COMP Cams Gift Certificate

In addition to money and contingencies, the program will reward provisionals.  The driver, highest in the final top ten standings in the point's program, who doesn't qualify for the 7th Annual Ralph Henson Memorial on Saturday, September 19th at I-30 Speedway will get a provisional starting spot in the main event. Similarly the driver highest in the top ten in the final points (who didn't use a provisional at the Ralph Henson Memorial), who doesn't qualify for the Fall Nationals at Riverside International Speedway on Saturday, October 3rd will get a provisional starting spot for the main event.
