Sooner State Showdown Weekend for COMP Cams Super Dirt Series

Beebe, Arkansas (09/09/15) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil is locked and loaded for a double header in the Sooner State this weekend, September 11th-12th.

With only three events remaining in the 2015 season Jack Sullivan continues to lead the series standings as the Greenbrier, Arkansas driver chases his first-career championship with the tour. Two-time, defending series champion, Kyle Beard continues to sit second in the standings, and will need a big weekend in Oklahoma if he hopes to gain ground in his pursuit of a third title. Shannon Scott, Gavin Landers, Robert Baker, Chandler Petty, Tommy Surrett, Clay Fisher, David Payne, and BJ Robinson complete the current top ten in the series standings.

Gavin Landers has all but clinched the Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year title with Hunter Rasdon second.

Both nights of this huge weekend will see the CCSDS competitors clashing against the MARS DIRTcar Series racers. The MARS contingent will be headed by two-time champion, and current point leader, Tony Jackson Jr. from Lebanon, Missouri. Justin Asplin, Brandon McCormick, Jeff Roth, Josh Hughes, and Jason Hughes are just some of the series’ competitors expected.

Action opens this weekend on Friday, September 11th at Outlaw Motor Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) with a $2,500-to-win/$400-to-start affair at the state-of-the-art facility.
