Ragan races to first Whynot win.

Chris Ragan of Corinth, picked up his 14th win of the season and first at Whynot Motorsports Park over a strong field of 30 Super Late Models Saturday night.
Ragan ran the bottom groove and passed early race leader "The Intimigator" Chris Wall of Holden, LA in lapped traffic. Wall running the high groove would regain the lead later in the race but couldn't keep Ragan behind him as he went on to take the win.
Wall finished second with Vicksburg's Bub McCool third, David Gentry of Lewisburg, TN fourth, and "The Bossman" Rodney Wing fifth.
In other action, Randy King won the Open Wheel Modified feature with, Brooks Strength, second, Greg Hollingsworth third, Tim Rutledge fourth and Rusty Harrison fifth.
Trey Bright picked up the Street Stock feature win, as "Mr. Whynot" Kyle Rutledge finished second, Bret Anderson third, David James fourth and Artis Bunyard fifth.
Johnny Pearson won the Mini Stock feature, with J.C. Pearson second, Tony Crosby third, Justin Anderson fourth and Seth McNeil fifth.
In the Pure Stock feature Chris Buckalew took the win, Logan Hembree finished second, Tim Culpepper third, Terry Arnsdorff fouth and Tyler Roberts fifth.
Andy Taylor won the Stinger feature, with Tim Dees second, Brandon Leftwich third, Chris Woodham fourth and Cara Woodham fifth.
Get ready race fans, this Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, will be the 15th annual Fall Classic at Whynot. The best Super Late Model drivers from across the country will be gunning for the $15,000 top prize. Thursday night will be practice night from 6-10pm, Friday night will be qualifying and heat races in all classes and feature race for the Pure Stocks only.
