Scott Slay in the Henderson Motorsports ride, jumped out to an early lead in the 50 lap main event until Chad Thrash of Collinsville, reeled him in before lap 10 as the two battled hard for the top spot, Thrash took lead from Slay on lap 23 and led till the final lap. Dedwylder, after going to the pits on lap nine during a caution and having to go to the rear, stormed through the field catching the leader on the final lap going down the back stretch and made an inside move coming off turn four to barely get by Thrash at the finish line.
