February 6th, 2009 -Tonight at East Bay the team's luck did not improve any. After qualifying 26th in his group, David started 9th in his heat race. He would be caught up in an early race accident when Chris Wall spun in front of him. He would be forced to the b-main where he started 18th and would charge to a 4th place finish. February 4th, 2009 - David's night got off to a much better start tonight at East Bay. Unfortunately mechanical woes early in the feature event, would bring his night to an early end, and he would be credited with a 24th place finish.

January 13th, 2009 -

For the 2009 season, David Breazeale and Voodoo Motorsports have decided to take on the challenge of competing full time on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) in pursuit of the 2009 Rookie of the Year honor with the tour.

Over the past few years David and Voodoo Motorsports have competed in an array of events, and have been progressively ramping their program in a more national direction.  Team owner, Jason Creel, feels that the team is now ready to attack the national scene.  For the 2009 season, the team has made the move to Rocket Chassis and will once again utilize Jay Dickens Racing Engines in their #54 Creel Brothers/Black Warrior Auction Company entry.

“Since we hired David to be our driver a few years ago, we have been prepping our program to become a national force.  This past season we ventured to more national events as well as several tracks that we had never competed at before in preparation for running a major series like the Lucas Oil tour.  We think that now is our time to hit the road and make some noise with Voodoo Motorsports,” comments Jason Creel.

In 2008 season, Breazeale entered 36 events, which included 5 four feature wins, 16 top five finishes, and 21 top ten finishes.

The tentative first event for “The Ragin Rebel” David Breazeale and Voodoo Motorsports will be on February 1st, 2009 at East Bay Raceway Park in the opener for the 32th Annual Winternatoinals, which will be sanctioned by the LOLMDS.  David’s complete, tentative schedule can be found at the official internet home of Voodoo Motorsports at www.VoodooDirt.com .

November 17th, 2008 - The team entered Night #2 of the Fall Late Model Nationals at Deep South Speedway on Sunday night with David Breazeale and David Ashley each piloting Voodoo Motorsports prepared entries. Breazeale set quick time and started first in the 40 lap feature. Ashley qualified seventh, which is where he started for the main event. Breazeale would battle at the front of the pack for the entire event before finishing in the third position. Ashley battled his way home to a 7th place finish in the feature. Sunday night's event marked the final event of 2008 for Voodoo Motorsports. Stay tuned for big news on the team for 2009!

November 16th, 2008 - Voodoo Motorsports traveled to Deep South Speedway in Loxley, Alabama last night to compete in Night #1 of the Fall Late Model Nationals. With $2,500 on the line, the team filed entries for David Breazeale and David Ashley (in Scott Creel's #31). Breazeale qualified 2nd overall in time trials, and Ashley qualified 7th in the 29 car field. Breazeale would start outside front row for the feature event. David finished a very close second to race winner, Travis Pennington. However, in post race inspection, things took a strange turn. The event was advertised to require tires that durometered 44 or harder. David was notified that a change had been made in the tire rule for the event, and that his Hoosier 1450 (which punched much harder than 44) was not allowed, and he was disqualified.

Things became even more strange when third place finisher, David Ashley, was cleared through the tech area in his #31 Voodoo Motorsports entry, despite having the exact same Hoosier 1450 tires on his entry. David was credited with a 2nd place finish after Breazeale was incorrectly disqualified. This was a very disappointing situation for Voodoo Motorsports.

November 9th, 2008 - After a few weeks away from the track, and the marriage of team owner Jason Creel and his lovely new wife, Amber, the team returned to action at Pike County Speedway in Magnolia, Mississippi for the Jambalaya Nationals. David Breazeale won his heat race in his #54 Mastersbilt By Stuckey/Jay Dickens Racing Engine. With passing points in effect, David was scheduled to start 3rd in the feature event. However, after the heat race some mechanical woes were discovered, and the team opted to not run the feature.

October 26th, 2008 - Voodoo Motorsports entered the 14th Annual Fall Classic over the weekend at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi. David qualified 2nd in his qualifying group behind eventual race winner, Brian Birkhofer. He started 2nd in his heat race and recorded a 3rd place finish, which earned him a transfer to the 75 lap feature event and a 9th starting position. Breazeale would battle in the top ten throughout the entire event before recording a 10th place finish at the checkered flag.

October 19th, 2008 - The team did not have any luck over the weekend at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for the 5th Annual Cotton Pickin' 100. The team practiced on Thursday night, but a locked down race track, did not provide much of an oppurtunity for the team to learn anything. On Friday night, the team would struggle with the car setup, and retired early in the heat race. As a result of Friday night's struggles, Voodoo Motorsports opted to not return on Saturday night.

October 12th, 2008 - The team was in action last night at Whynot Motorsports Park in the 2008 finale for the MSCCS Super Late Models. Scott Creel had a rough night. His night would to an early end in the feature event, when he jumped the cushion and knocked the nose under the car ending his night. He was credited with an 18th place finish, which was enough to earn him the 2008 MSCCS Rookie of the Year title!

David set quick time in time trials, which earned him the pole position for the 40 lap feature. David would assume the second spot at the drop of the green flag. He would battle Bub McCool for the lead for the entire race before finishing in the second position.

Scott Creel qualified 7th in his group, which earned him a 3rd starting spot for his b-main. He finished 4th in his qualifier and started 15th in the feature. He would race his way to another top ten in the main event as he recorded a 9th place finish at the checkered flag.

October 5th, 2008 - David Breazeale continued his strong second half of the 2008 season last night at Deep South Speedway in Loxley, Alabama as he picked up the $2,500 feature win with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) tour. David set quick time around the large, clay oval, which earned him the pole position for the feature event. Breazeale would lead the entire event, but narrowly escaped disaster as he hit debris on the track with five laps left, which cut a tire, but he was able to hold onto the car to take the win.

Scott Creel also had a strong night as he qualified 3rd for the feature event. Creel would run in the top five for much of the event before jumping the cushion on a mid race restart, which pushed him back to the 12th spot. He would bounce back to a 10th place finish.

September 28th, 2008 - Voodoo Motorsports invaded the 19th Annual Magnolia State 100 at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi over the weekend. In time trials on Friday night, David qualified 2nd fast in his group. After the #4 inversion pill was drawn, Breazeale was forced to start 3rd in his heat race. David would ride in the fourth position for much of the event before executing a masterful slide job in the final corner of the final lap to take the third and final transfer spot from Brad Neat. David started 13th in the feature event and would be running around the 10th position, when he was caught up in a mid race incident. Breazeale recieved a flat tire from the incident and had to go pitside for fresh rubber. He would charge his way back to a 14th place finish.

Scott Creel qualified 9th in his group on Friday night, which earned him a 9th starting position for his heat race. Creel would advance to a 7th place finish, which earned him an 8th starting position for his b-main. In the b-main, Scott picked up a 6th place finish, which transferred him to the last chance qualifier. However, the team made the decision to save the car and not start the event.

September 21st, 2008 - Voodoo Motorsports was rained out last night at Deep South Speedway in Loxley, Alabama. David Breazeale and Scott Creel will be in action next weekend in the $20,008 to win/$1,000 to start Magnolia State 100 at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Misissippi.

September 14th, 2008 - After a few weeks away from the track to freshen their equipment, Voodoo Motorsports returned to action on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Mississippi in the 14th Annual Ival Cooper Memorial. David Breazeale qualified 3rd out of 25 entries in his Super Late Model, which earned him the 3rd starting position for the 50 lap feature. At the drop of the green flag Breazeale shot into the second position and began pressuring Scott Slay for the top spot. Lap five would see Breazeale blast past Slay for the top spot. David went on to lead the next 45 laps on the heavy, gumbo oval en route to the win and the $5,000 payday. The win marked Breazeale's third triumph of the 2008 season.

Scott Creel was also in action, and turned in a solid qualifying lap to earn the 11th starting position for the 50 lap feature. Creel would drive a smart race and earned a 9th place finish.

August 23rd, 2008 - Voodoo Motorsports traveled to Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee on Wednesday and Thursday night for the Scorcher 100 that was sanctioned by the World of Outlaw Super Late Models. The event was Breazeale's first time at the facility and the team was plagued by problems both nights forcing them to fall short of qualifying for either event. August 17th, 2008 - Voodoo Motorsports and driver, David Breazeale, traveled to Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas for the 16th Annual COMP Cams Topless 100. The team participated in the open practice on Thursday night, but Friday's program was nixed by heavy afternoon rains. As a result, the entire program was moved to Saturday night. David qualified 5th in his group in group qualifying with 67 Super Late Models signed in for battle. With a zero inversion drawn for heat race action, Breazeale rolled off from the heat race grid in the 5th position. David would battle a tight race car home to a 7th place finish in the 10 lap event. Via his heat race finish, Breazeale would earn an 8th place starting position for his b-main event, where he would advance to a 4th place finish. Unfortunately, only the top two cars transferred to the feature event, so David's night came to an end. Scott Creel made the last minute decision to race in a weekly racing series event in his #31 Mastersbilt/Wall-2-Wall Racing Engine Super Late Model at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi on Saturday night, and he came away with a 3rd place finish in the feature event.

August 11th, 2008 - Voodoo Motorsports was in action on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi. David Breazeale set quick time in time trials with a 12.30 second lap around the 3/8 mile oval. David went on to win the pole sitters dash to earn the pole position for the feature event. However, Breazeale's strong run would end in the feature as the tire choice and car setup would not agree, resulting in David retiring to a 20th place finish. Scott Creel would make the switch to a Mastersbilt Race Car for the event, and the change would pay off in a big way as Scott qualified 2nd in his group in qualifying, which earned him a 3rd starting position for the pole sitters dash. Creel finished 5th in the dash, and as a result he started 5th in the feature event. Scott battled in the top ten throughout the event before recording a 10th place finish.

A few laps later, Daniel Miller would slip by for the second position. The pair would begin a side-by-side duel for the spot over the next several laps. Lap 24 would see the leader of the event, eliminated in an incident with lapped traffic. With Miller in the lead, Breazeale would begin applying heavy pressure for the top spot. Caution would fly again on lap 28, which would set up a two lap dash to the checkered flag. On the ensuing restart, Breazeale used the low line to rocket past Miller for the lead and went on to lead the last two laps en route to his second win of 2008. Both Breazeale and Scott Creel were slated to be in action in the Team Voodoo Motorsports cars on Saturday night at Columbus Speedway. However, heavy rain just before hot laps forced the postponement of the event.

David set second quick time overall and started second in the feature event. Breazeale would take the lead at the drop of the green flag and begin to battle with second place runner, Chris Wall. The pair would stage an exceptional battle for the top spot over the remainder of the feature with Breazeale taking the win by a slim margin over Wall. Scott Creel extended his advantage in the MSCCS Rookie of the Year standings by picking up a 12th place finish. Creel started 11th in the feature event after finishing 3rd in the last chance qualifier.

July 13th, 2008 - Voodoo Motorsports and driver, David Breazeale, competed in a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Series Events over the course of the weekend. On Friday night, the bad luck bug would once again strike as David's driveshaft would come out of his #54 Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model on the second lap of the heat race. As his car came to a stop another competitor slammed into him causing severe damage on the left side of the car. As a result, the team's night came to an end, and they spent much of Saturday at Jay Dickens Racing Engines shop in Aberdeen, Mississippi rebuilding the car. On Saturday night, the team made the trek to Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for a $10,000 to win event. Breazeale would finish 3rd in his heat, which earned him a 9th starting spot for the feature event. He would rejoin the back of the pack and charge back to a 7th place finish. Scott Creel qualified in the 11th position in his group during group qualifying behind the wheel of his #31 GRT/Wall-2-Wall Racing Engine Super Late Model. He would start 7th in his b-main and finish 8th. As a result, he was forced to utilize a MSCCS tour provisional and start 22nd in the feature.
