David Breazeale takes MSCCS Win at Deep South Speedway!

On a night when thrillseekers and entertainment fans from all over the Gulf Coast region came to see whether or not Bubba Blackwell could set a new record jumping fifty-two cars aboard his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, racing on the track reached a frenzied level of competition. The packed house of fans witnessed David Breazeale work his VooDoo Motorsports magic in to a wire-to-wire victory in the 50 lap super late model battle for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS). In other late model action it was Pace, Florida's Ricky Haugen scoring a second straight win in the GM Performance divison. Championship titles were determined in all Deep South Speedway classes in a night full of spills and thrills on the racetrack.

But it was the action on the high-banked, lightning fast racing oval of Deep South Speedway that had fans stunned with amazement. Breazeale, from Four Corners, Mississippi would score the fastest lap in time-trial qualifying for the super late models on hand at Deep South Speedway earning him the pole position for the fifty lap main event.
With frantic scambles on-going for positions throughout the event Breazeale was able to hold off the late race charge of Tennessee ace Vic Hill to take the checkered flag and big payday. Breazeale drives the Voodoo Motorsports owned racecar sponsored by Black Warrior Auction Company and Creel Brothers. The MasterSbilt racecar of Breazeale was prepared by Stuckey Enterprises and powered to the win by a Jay Dickens Racing Engine. Hill crossed the stripe in second as Jackson, Mississippi racer Scott Slay finished third. 2008 Advance Auto Parts Thunder Series Champion Rick Rogers of Knoxville, Tennessee rallied late in the event to bring his BKW, Inc. sponsored machine home with a fourth place run, as Louisiana's David Ashley rounded out the top-five.
