Cliburn Takes Many First at MSCCS Event!!

Meridian, MS- Justin McRee of Woodstock, AL would take the lead out of the chute only to have David Ashley take the lead on lap 2 with Jason Cliburn taking over on lap 4. David Ashley, 2-Time MSCCS champion of Zachary, LA made a pass for the lead on lap 40 only to see the caution fly before crossing the strip and passing the lead back to Cliburn on the restart. Cliburn would continue with the lead taking his GRT chassis, Hoosier Tire machine Sponsored by Cliburn Tank Lines, Cliburn Performance and GRT Race Chassis and powered by a Ford Spec Engine to the $2500 victory. This victory was his first race of the 2009 season, first win with the MS State Championship Challenge Series and first win at Whynot Motorsports Park, Meridian, MS.
Cliburn was followed by David Ashley, Jay Blair of Angie La, Steve Bryan of Collinsville, MS and Chris McElhenney of Decatur, MS
