The Open Wheel division saw Eddie Rhinehart lead the full twenty laps for the win in a one caution race. That caution came on lap five when Wesley Heatherly took a spin in turn four. The Super Late Model division saw Tony Morris lead the full twenty-five laps to take his first win of the season at Thunderhill. The only caution came on lap eight as Dwight Quillen dropped fluid on the track. Ben Gillespie went green to checkered for the win in the Street Stock special that had three cautions and one RED flag.
On lap five caution came out for Joshua Himes as he spun in turn four then on lap ten he drew the RED flag when he made contact with Randall Himes that resulted in Randall getting into the wall and flipping. The hard contact sent Joshua to the hospital to be checked out but was reported to be o.k. Lap ten caution came out for Randal Johnson as he spun in turn four then on lap sixteen David McGill lost a tire in turn four. On the last lap Johnson also lost a tire in turn four. From a field of seventeen Mini Stocker we were set for great racing action. Kevin Staggs took charge at the drop of the green and led thru lap ten. He left a little gap and Dillon Scott took charge at that point and held on thru lap fifteen for the win.
