Bryce Jewell closes gap for modified championship CALVERT CITY, Kentucky – Bryce Jewell of Madisonville, Kentucky picked up his third win of the year in the Open Wheel Modified division at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway. The win closed the gap between Trent Young and himself for the $6,000 championship prize to just 18 points. Jewell was able to hold off Josh Harris by a 1.258 second split to take home the checkered flag. Rounding out the top five were Jeff Parks, Keith McKinney and Hunt Gossum. MODIFIED – 1.
