Very hot and humid conditions were the background setting for tonight’s racing action at North Central Arkansas Speedway.

Richard Carson paced the field out of turn four to the opening green flag of the Hobby Stock feature race and claimed the top spot in the books on the opening circuit. Kevin Collins sat outside on the front row as the race began and fell in behind Carson early on. Collins pressured Carson over the first nine laps of the race before claiming the lead on lap ten. Carson tried to run down Collins as the final half of the race ran caution-free but couldn’t get back to the front. Collins claimed another feature win, Carson claimed second with Hunter Duren taking the checkered flag running third.

Outside pole-sitter Dylan Pinson got past Seaman to take the lead on lap seven before the field was again slowed by the appearance of the yellow flag. Jimmie Blair took advantage of the field being bunched up under yellow and moved to the lead following the lap eight restart on his way to the feature race win. Campbell crossed the line running second and Seaman claimed third.

Corey put his ride out in front on the opening lap with Troy Hullett pressuring the leader from the second spot. Devin Elliot moved into position two on lap two and set off in pursuit of leader Corey. As the laps counted off on the event Corey was able to stay out front to take the win, Elliot was second and Hullett finished third.
