Series

Goal:
The design of the Rebel Challenge Weekly Racing Series is to promote
weekly racing or budget racing, while simultaneously limiting travel.
However, in order to make it fair to the drivers, who run 50-80
times versus the drivers, who only run 20-35 times a year, only
the top 18 finishes will count. This will help the car counts, which
in turn helps track promoters, and provides fans with a better show.
This results in better racing, which brings more fans to the track
at an affordable price.
By mid-summer, with tracks working together, the Rebel Challenge
Weekly Racing Series hopes to see some Thursday, Friday, & Saturday
tripe headers along with some Friday, Saturday, & Sunday combos,
and maybe even a Monday - Friday Mini Summer Nationals. The support
of the drivers and tracks will ultimately determine the success
of this series.
How It Works:
The Racer
The racer pays a $150.00 Annual Membership Fee ($50 for Rebel Challenge & $100 Directly To Points) and $5.00 per entry
at tracks participating in the Rebel Challenge Weekly Racing Series
that are paying $1,500 or less with no entry fee.
The Track
Each track, who is involved in the Rebel Challenge Weekly
Racing Series, will pay a $300.00 Annual Membership fee. The track
will have the responsibility of sending weekly results to Brown
Engineering in a timely fashion. These results should include: The
Super Late Model Entry List, $5 per Super Late Model Driver, and
the Finishing Order for the Super Late Model Feature. **Remember:
$1,500 or less, no entry
To all concerned, the $300.00 per track and $25.00 per driver cost
will be used to pay all advertising, printing, and mailing costs,
etc, and labor to enter data weekly for the newsletters and advertising.
Rules
The Rebel Challenge Weekly Racing Series does not require
any rule changes for tracks to be a part of the series. However,
it is important for tracks to note that limiting tire brands and
engine rules may limit car counts. This is a series for Super Late
Models - You Decide.
Point's Payout
The season ending point's payout will pay 20 places for the final
standings in the Rebel Challenge Weekly Racing Series. The amount
of money that is paid at the end of the season will be determined
by the amount of $5.00 entry fees accumulated during the season.
100% of all $5.00 entry fees paid goes to the point's fund.
The amount of money paid at the end of the season will be determined
by percentages of the total money collected for the year. Below
is the percentage breakdown for the top 20 in points.

Example:
300 racers run 40 events will make a $60,000 point fund plus
sponsors. That would result in the point's champion getting $18,000
plus to win the Rebel Challenge Weekly Racing Series just by running
at local tracks.
For an explanation of how the weekly points are distributed, please
visit the Points section.
As you can see, with tracks working together, drivers working together,
and drivers supporting the tracks involved, and fans bringing new
fans to share the great racing.......Everybody Wins, which Equals
a Bigger Point's Fund!
