	"The Headman" Mike Head from Georgia won the 2001 Ice Bowl and brought home a top 5 finish on this night.

	"Rim riding" Randle Chupp from Knoxville, TN put on one heck of a show in the feature. In the first 10 laps he passed 13 cars. He was hanging the right rear off the edge in the turns. He looked to have something for the leaders before the mud packed in one of his tires ending his strong run to the front.
	Ronnie Johnson from Chattanooga, TN showed up with a brand new spec motor. He picked up his heat win on Friday night, but he detonated his brand new power plant early into the A-Main Saturday night.
