Firecracker 100 Weekend isn’t just a three-day race, it’s an event!

Sarver, PA (June 18, 2014)  What started out as a two-day World of Outlaws Late Model Series race back in 2007, has evolved into a three-day racing event that has become a destination for race fans all over the country!  While there are three-complete shows of Dirt Late Model Racing on the Action Track, the entertainment and fan/driver interaction off the track is every bit as responsible for the evolution of this three-day mega racing event!

The Schedule of Events officially starts on Tuesday, June 24 when FREE Camping opens at 12:00 Noon on a first come, first served basis.  Reserved Camping, which is sold out, opens on Wednesday at Noon and vendors can move in that same day from 12:00-5:00PM.

After Thursday Night’s complete $6,000-to-win World of Outlaws Late Model Series A-Main, the Justin Fabus Band returns to the Firecracker stage to rock the crowd for the second consecutive season.  Justin and the boys are debuting a new song “Kiss of a Gypsy” on Monday, June 23 on Froggy Radio (94.9, 95.5, 103.5 or 104.3 depending on where you live) and Y108.  Be the first crowd to see it live after its release!

Friday’s festivities kick off at noon; literally!  For the second consecutive season, we’ll be hosting a Kick It for Children’s Cancer kickball game featuring local, regional and national Late Model drivers with all proceeds going to Children’s Cancer Research.  After the kickball game, Lernerville Speedway PR Team will make the rounds and vote on the Best Camping and Tailgating Sites.

After Friday Night’s $6,000-to-win World of Outlaws Late Model Series A-Main, we’ll light up the sky with another legendary pyrotechnic display for the Finest Race Fans in the World!  And then after the fireworks, Vanessa Campagna and NOMaD will return to the Firecracker stage for the Froggy Hometown Country Tour.  National recording artists Chuck Wicks and the John King Band will be opening the free show!

The off-track festivities continue Saturday at 12:00 noon with the traditional Wienie Roast and Fan/Driver Horseshoe and Cornhole Tournaments.  During the tournaments, Dow Carnahan will be interviewing and taking questions for Firecracker 100 drivers on the Firecracker stage.  Another fan favorite tradition of the Firecracker 100 is the Driver Autograph Session.  This unique event lines up every driver in competition allowing fans to get autographs from all drivers from 4:00-5:00.  After the $30,000-to-win Firecracker 100 A-Main, the pits will be open to all fans for one last chance to rub elbows with their favorite drivers.

You can download and print the entire Schedule of Events on our website Lernerville.com.  All events are subject to change at the discretion of management due to weather or other conflicting circumstances beyond our control.
