Whynot Motorsports Set to Open 2013 this Saturday Night with the Firestarter 50

Whynot, MS – Whynot Motorsports Park will come alive this Saturday night, March 16th with a big racing event, which wll be headlined by the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Models battling for $2,500-to-win in the Firestarter 50. A full compliment of local divisions, including NeSmith Late Models, Street Stocks, Open Wheel Modifieds, and Pure Stocks, will also be on the card.

Grandstand admission is $15 for adults and $5 for kids 6-12 years of age while 5 & under are always FREE!! Gates open at 3pm with racing action at 7pm.

The event serves as a tune-up race for the first-ever visit by the World of Outlaw Super Late Model Series to Whynot Motorsports Park on Saturday, March 23rd. Some of the best dirt late model drivers in the country will converge on the “Action Track of the South” to try and pick up the $10,000 payday. The 2012 WOO Rookie of the Year, Mississippi’s own Bub McCool from Vicksburg, will be on hand along with other drivers like Clint Smith, Josh Richards, Chub Frank, Rick Eckert, Tim McCreadie, Scott James, Eric Wells, Dillon Wood, Morgan Bagley, Shane Clanton and the 2012 WOO Champion Darrell Lanigan.

Adult grandstand tickets are $30 and $15 for kids 6-12 years of age. Children 5 & under are free. Pit passes are $40. Also in action will be NeSmith Crate Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Pure Stocks.
