MSCCS $2,500-TO-WIN SUPER LATE MODEL RACE THIS SATURDAY AT WMP

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

MERIDIAN, MS – Whynot Motorsports Park will present a 50-lap $2,500-to-win Super Late Model event this Saturday night for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS). The top super late model drivers in the Southeast will converge on the Action Track of the South this Saturday night to battle for over $12,000 in prize money.

The defending MSCCS Champion Klint Byars leads the entries that also include Ronnie Lee Hollingsworth, David Breazeale, Chad Thrash, Scott Dedwylder, Rodney Wing, Eddie Rickman, Rick Rickman and Brian Rickman, who will all be a part of the over 30 entries expected to be slinging dirt in their 700 horsepower ground-pounding race cars around the 3/8-mile clay oval.

The MSCCS drivers will compete this Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Group Qualifying to determine the front starting spots for the 24-car 50-lap main event. The remainder of the field will be set by B-Main preliminary events.

There will also be four Whynot Motorsports Park weekly divisions in action this Saturday night with Open Wheel Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks and Stingers on the racing card. The pit gate will open at 3 p.m. on Saturday with the Drivers Meeting at 6:30 p.m. and racing is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 12, and children under six are admitted free. Pit passes will be $30 this Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park.
