Mark Whitener Pulls the Hat Trick with UDLMCS

Middleburg, Florida (12/08/14) – Mark Whitener put a wrap on the 2014 season on Saturday night, but not before completing the hat track with the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series (UDLMCS) as he powered to his third-straight tour win in his Big Frog Motorsports #58 Dave's Towing/B&B Produce/Barry Wright Late Model.

The United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series (UDLMCS) 2014 tour drew to a close on Saturday night at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida). Twenty-one entries registered for the $3,000-to-win program at the 1/2 mile oval, and via qualifications Mark earned the second starting spot for his heat race. Whitener charged to a convincing heat race victory, sending him to the redraw where he would lock into the pole position for the 50 lap finale.

When the race went green, outside-front-row starter, Keith Nosbisch assumed the point with Whitener in tow. Mark would soon charge past Nosbisch to take control of the top spot and never look back, en route to his third straight UDLMCS victory. Trailing Whitener across the finish line were Ivedent Lloyd Jr., John Kellum, Austin Kirpatrick and Tyler Clem. Whitener and Big Frog Motorsports end the 2014 season with 9 wins, 23 top-five-finishes, and 30 top-ten-finishes.
