Mark Whitener and the Big Frog Motorsports team made the trip to Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida) on Friday night with plans to compete in the Late Model division. Heading to All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Florida) on Saturday evening, Mark looked to bring home his sixth victory of the season during the grand opening of the track. With fourteen Super Late Models registered, Whitener scored a 3rd place finish in his heat. Battling for 20-laps in the feature, Mark jumped to the lead early and cruised to his sixth victory of the season with Jimmy Sharpe Jr., Tyler Crowder, Russell Brown, and Jake Perkins completing the top five. “It’s really great to see this track reopening, and it’s equally awesome to score the win,” said Whitener. “We’ve got some big races on the horizon, and our team is really performing well right now. Kyle won the second heat race to earn the outside-front-row, starting spot for the Super Late Model feature. He jumped to the lead at the drop of the green flag and never looked back on his way to the victory behind the wheel of his Gary Beard Trucking #86 Bob Pierce Super Late Model. The Modified division also found Beard in victory lane in the finale in Shawn Mann's #86 GRT. After finishing 2nd in his heat race, Kyle started 3rd in the finale.
