Wendell Wallace Treks to KLMS this Weekend for ‘March Madness’

(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) For the first time since opening up his 2008 racing season in Florida during the ‘Winternationals’ at the East Bay Raceway Park and the ‘Alltel DIRTcar Nationals’ at the Volusia Speedway Park, Wendell Wallace will take to the track again this weekend!

The Wendell Wallace Autosports team is scheduled to enter a trio of Dirt Late Model shows this coming weekend at the Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City, Kentucky. The three-day 'March Madness' event will take place at KLMS from March 13-15. A $5,000 top prize is up for grabs on both Thursday and Friday, while a $10,000 winner's check awaits the victor of the Saturday, March 15 finale. Wendell, while driving for the Garrett Racing team in ’07, visited KLMS twice last season. He was very consistent in both trips to the “Taj Mahal of Dirt Racing,” as he finished ninth in the $10,000 to win ‘Early Bird Classic’ last March and eleventh in the $24,999 to win ’99 Extravaganza’ in May of 2007.

Billy Moyer Heads to KLMS this Weekend for 3-Day ‘March Madness’

(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) For the first time since dominating “Speedweeks 2008” in Georgia and Florida, Billy Moyer and his #21 team will hit the track again this weekend. Billy entered eighteen events from January 23-February 16 at three different southern venues: Golden Isles (GA) Speedway, East Bay (FL) Raceway Park, and Volusia (FL) Speedway Park. In all, the driver known as "Mr. Smooth" reached victory lane on six different occasions during “Speedweeks 2008,” while racking up an unbelievable twelve Top Five finishes and fourteen Top Ten performances.
