On-demand coverage during Hunt for the USMTS Casey's Cup, more pay-per-view events on tap from RacinDirt.com

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Aug. 13) -- Thousands of fans follow the United States Modified Touring Series because they expect (and get) more than the alternative. Going forward, they can expect even more as America's unparalleled, premier dirt racing series continues to break new ground and knock down barriers while continuing to set the standard of what dirt modified racing can (and should) be.

With the turning of the calendar to the 2013 season, the USMTS began a first-of-its-kind partnership with RacinDirt.com to produce high-quality, on-demand video coverage from dozens of events throughout the campaign. Popular video recaps and highlights such as AFTERSHOCK and HEAT OF THE NIGHT will continue to originate on www.USMTS.com and the series' YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/USMTSTV, including every event during the Hunt for the USMTS Casey's Cup.

Recently, the RacinDirt.com crew presented their first live pay-per-view event in July with a successful and well-received broadcast of the World Modified Dirt Track Championship at the Deer Creek Speedway. On the heels of the venture, the USMTS and RacinDirt.com have entered into a multi-year agreement to produce several key USMTS live shows in the near and distant future.

"We had a great time showcasing the USMTS and Deer Creek Speedway to those around the world who were unable to attend," Krueger said. "We're excited to grow our relationship with the series and look forward to the many events ahead. This series features the top modified drivers in the country and we are thrilled to be showcasing them."

RacinDirt.com is spearheaded by Missouri natives Trenton Berry and Austin 'Stick' Krueger.

Berry studied broadcast journalism at Missouri State University while simultaneously honing his skills in sports radio as an on-air host and producer at Jock 98.7 FM in Springfield, Mo. In 2008, he moved to Kansas City where he worked with The Racin' Boys and Sports Radio 810--the largest all-sports radio station in the country. In 2010, Berry was tabbed as the voice of the reality TV show "Heartland Thunder" which aired on Discovery Channel.

Krueger got his start in racing working for his father-in-law, Steve Barber, who competed in late models and super trucks at the I-70 Speedway in Odessa, Mo. While handling the team's media duties, he caught the eye of Racin' Boys founder Scott Traylor who hired Krueger to produce video for his Internet broadcasts.

In 2010, Berry and Krueger launched RacinDirt.com to offer extensive coverage of dirt modified and late model racing throughout the Midwest. News, special features, live blogs, photos, original columns and more are available to all who surf the site, while premium members can get hundreds of high-quality, high-definition videos and other original content for $4.99 per month or just $50 for a one-year subscription. Flag-to-flag coverage of most USMTS main events and heat races are available for premium members at www.RacinDirt.com.

"Our partnership with RacinDirt.com has been a great boost for USMTS fans, drivers and sponsors," said Jeff Nun, Director of Marketing & Communications for the USMTS. "With their experience and reputation in the industry, we felt comfortable putting our product in their hands and they have not disappointed.

"There's one thing that the USMTS, RacinDirt.com and Webster's Dictionary have in common: we put quality ahead of quantity."

Celebrating its 15th season in 2013, the United States Modified Touring Series is the fastest-growing and most popular dirt modified series in the universe. Attracting the most talented and professional drivers in North America, the fan-friendly format and exciting show creates an enthusiastic and loyal fan base, and the USMTS routinely competes in front of capacity crowds. When it comes to a touring series that features the Best of the Best in dirt modified racing, the USMTS has no equal.
