USMTS invades Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota for 100 hours of action June 3-7
MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa-Five big events in Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota kick off the month of June for the USMTS Casey's Cup powered by Swan Energy.

More than $10,000 to win is up for grabs during the 100-hour stint, with upwards of $100,000 in total prize money on the table for the undisputed Best of the Best in open-wheel dirt modified racing.

Action kicks off at the high-banked quarter-mile Marshalltown Speedway in Marshalltown, Iowa, on Tuesday, June 3. Pits open at 4:00, grandstands open at 5:00 and hot laps begin at 7:00 with racing to follow. The Iron Man Challenge featuring USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods will round out the triple-threat program.

Adult grandstand tickets are $17, kids ages 6-12 are $5 and children 5 and under get in for free. Pit passes are $35. Fans can find coupons good for $2 off adult admission at all five Casey's General Store locations in Marshalltown.

On Wednesday, June 4, action moves two hours north to the Hancock County Speedway in Britt, Iowa. Gates open at 5:30 with hot laps at 7:00 and racing to follow. The Iron Man Challenge featuring USRA Stock Cars will also be in competition.

The Hancock County Speedway is located 1.3 miles south of US 18 on James St. (turns into Main Ave. and Diagonal and 1st), then 0.5 mile east on 220th Ave., then 0.1 mile north on Jewell Ave. (2210 Jewell Ave., Britt, IA 50423). The tireless USMTS touring titans are back at it again about one-and-a-half hours northwest at the Fairmont Raceway in Fairmont, Minn., on Thursday night, June 5, with hot laps slated for 7:00 and racing to follow.

Joining the program will be the Iron Man Challenge featuring USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods.

Coupons good for $2 off adult general admission will be available for fans on race day at both Fairmont locations as well as locations in Trimont, Truman and Welcome.

Just a short drive west and south on Friday, June 6, and you'll find the United States Modified Touring Series dishing up the dirt again at the Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa, for the track's 2014 season opener.

This will be the first race for new promoter Dereck Van Der Brink, so this is a perfect opportunity for fans and drivers to come out and support a fellow racer who is investing his time and money to keep the lights on at this historic track.

Gates open at 5:00 with hot laps at 7:00 and the first green flag at 7:30.

Less than an hour east from Rock Rapids, the final night of next week's swing will be Saturday, June 7, and the first-ever show for the USMTS Modifieds at the I-90 Speedway in Hartford, S.D.

Hot laps begin at 6:30 and racing commences at 7:00. While USRA B-Mods compete every Saturday night along with USRA Hobby Stocks at the high-banked 3/8-mile clay oval, this will be the first Iron Man show at the facility too.

Ticket prices are $17 for adults, $5 for kids ages 7-12 and children 6 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit passes will be $35 each. All I-90 Speedway season passes are good for this event.

On race day, fans can find coupons good for $2 off adult general admission at all Casey's General Store locations in Brandon, Sioux Falls and Tea.
