Fuel Safe adds boost to USMTS contingency program

REDMOND, Ore. (Feb. 7) – Officials from the United States Modified Touring Series announced today that Fuel Safe has become the latest icon in the motorsports industry to sign on as a contingency sponsor of the USMTS in 2013.

“Partnering with USMTS as a contingency sponsor provides Fuel Safe with a great opportunity to connect directly with modified racers, and provide them with an extra incentive to participate in and support a fantastic series,” explained Rob Held, Sales Engineer for Fuel Safe. We at Fuel Safe feel strongly that it’s important for racers everywhere to have the best safety equipment available.”

The 2013 Fuel Safe contingency program will award a certificate worth 30% off a complete Dirt Series fuel cell to the sixth-place finisher in every USMTS main event during the 2013 grind.

Furthermore, the 2013 USMTS Rookie of the Year will receive a complete ED Series, Dirt Series fuel cell.

“With this program, we will be able to expose USMTS members to the high level of quality that goes into our products, provide them with an opportunity to acquire a Fuel Safe racing cell at a great price and help an “up and comer” continue to progress in their racing efforts,” Held added.

Fuel Safe has been building race winning safety fuel cells for more than 30 years. Proudly made in their Redmond, Ore., facility, Fuel Safe products meet the demanding certification requirements of the FIA and SFI, and are used by top teams in NASCAR, the World of Outlaws, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, USAC, SCORE International Off-Road Racing, the American Le Mans Series, Grand-Am Road Racing, the USMTS and many others.
