Edelbrock adds power to USMTS driver awards program

TORRANCE, Calif. (Jan. 17) – A new contingency award program for the 2013 racing season is in place for USMTS drivers as Edelbrock has signed on as a marketing partner with the popular open-wheel dirt modified traveling road show.

“Edelbrock is a driving force in the aftermarket industry, and any time you can align yourself with such a quality manufacturer with an impeccable reputation it is a good day at the office,” said USMTS Marketing Director Jeff Nun. “We are thrilled and honored to have Edelbrock on board as a marketing partner with the USMTS, and even more excited for our teams to have Edelbrock’s commitment and support behind them.”

In addition to contributing to the regional and national points funds for this year, Edelbrock will also award product certificates to the third-place finisher in every USMTS main event in 2013 as well as the top three finishers in the final points standings at season’s end.

Edelbrock, LLC is a specialty performance automotive and motorcycle aftermarket parts manufacturer based in Torrance, Calif., and founded by Vic Edelbrock in 1938.

When his desire to increase the performance of his 1932 Ford Roadster led him to design a new intake manifold, friends and fellow drivers soon wanted one as well.

This transformed his repair garage into a parts manufacturing enterprise, making one-of-a-kind equipment for automobiles.

In many ways, Vic Edelbrock helped to invent the automotive aftermarket parts industry.

Today, Edelbrock manufactures over 8,000 automotive parts for racers and hobbyists, focusing on increased performance.
