USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour Sprint Cars, K&N USCS Outlaw Modifieds and FIREWORKS! headline the action at Diamond Park Speedway Park on Friday, June 26th

Atlanta, GA -  June 24, 2015 – This Friday night  (June 26th)} , the United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters winged sprint cars kicks off a five race USCS Super Dirt Week as headliners of  the 3rd annual “Duel at the Diamond” speed and FIREWORKS spectacular at Diamond Park Speedway. Sprint car drivers from at least five states are expected for the series tenth event of the year. The winner of the USCS Sprint Car Amain at Diamond Park Speedway wil receive a $2000 payday. Expected entries include 2012 USCS National Champion, Tim Crawley from Benton, Arkansas who won the 2013 and 2014 USCS contests at Diamond Park Speedway. Also entered is  11-time United Sprint Car Series National Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee.

Both Gray and Crawley were ranked among the top twenty drivers in the Nation in the 2014 National Sprint Car Hall of Fame 360 “Driver of the Year” rankings. Also expected is 2013 and defending USCS National sprint car Champion, Derek Hagar from Marion, Arkansas who was ranked among the top 15 drivers in the Nation out of 3500 drivers considered by the NSCHOF pollsters..
Also competing will be the Nation’s top ranked female sprint car driver in the land, Morgan Turpen from Cordova, Tennessee. Turpen who was the 2010 USCS National ” Rookie of the Year”.  Turpen is currently ranked in the runner-up position in the National point standings and leads the USCS Mid South Thunder Tour regional point standings. She has six career visits to the www.rockauto.com USCS Victory Lane. The versatile twenty-one year old was the 2014 USCS Hoosier Asphalt Series Champion.   
Sensational sixteen year-old “Rookie of the Year” point’s leader, Nick Snyder from Marco Island , Florida, will also be in the field. Snyder ranks third in the USCS National point standings coming into Friday’s event. The impressive Florida young gun already has won a main event this season on May 8th Travelers Rest Speedway in South Carolina.

Also on the racing card for their third ever visit to the speedway will be the K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modified Series open wheel modified cars.  The USCS Modified division will race for $1000 to win as they also contest a complete round of action that also includes the K&N Filters Power Dash, qualifying heat races and main events.  Four weekly Diamond Park Speedway stock car divisions will add to the action by going wheel to wheel and fender to fender for cash and glory as well. Those stock car divisions include the Pure Stock, Factory Stock, Street Stock and Novice classes. Holiday fireworks are also on the program to help celebrate our country’s 239th birthday.

Over $20,000 is posted in guaranteed prize money during the third year event. The action-packed racing card includes drivers contesting nearly 200 laps of racing action with 100+ laps of main event finals.
