TALLADEGA SHORT TRACK JOINS SALUTE TO AMERICA NATIONALS LINE-UP

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

CARTERSVILLE, GA – Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL has joined the line-up for what is now a four-race Salute To America Nationals for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series. Talladega Short Track will take the lead-off spot in the batting order with a 40-lap $2,000-to-win race on Friday night, July 1.

Penton Raceway in Penton, AL will take the second race of the Salute To America Nationals with a 40-lap $2,000-to-win race on Saturday night, July 2. East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL will host the third race with a 50-lap $2,500-to-win event on Sunday night, July 3.

Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton, AL will present the finale for the Salute To America Nationals on Monday night, July 4 with a 50-lap $2,500-to-win race. Flomaton Speedway will return to the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring schedule for the first time since 2008.

Over $50,000 in prize money and awards will be up for grabs over the four days of NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series racing in the State of Alabama. The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series will make its second stop of the season at Talladega Short Track, where Michael Page of Douglasville, GA was victorious on April 30.

The next race on the 2016 Schedule of Events for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Tour will be on May 21 at Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA for a 60-lap $4,000-to-win race with extra cash and extra laps in all positions.
