Event Twist Greets 9th Annual Short Track Nationals Trade Show & Midway Vendors, Teams & Fans

The 9th annual Short Track Nationals (STN) Trade Show & Midway October 23-26th is a great way to kick off the 2014 buying season, and vendor space requests are now being accepted. This event is a part of the 26th annual $15,000 to win COMP Cams® Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Tires at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, AR.

And this year’s STN Trade Show and Midway has been expanded one day due to a new twist in the STN race weekend…and without added cost to the STN vendors.

The traditional Wednesday night ‘Practice’ has been scrapped in favor of a new event. The “Short Track Nationals Open,” to be contested Wednesday October 23rd, is ‘open’ to all sprint teams and will pay $2,500 to the winner and $200 to start, presented by Dixon Road U-Pull-It. There is no entry fee to this added event.

And here’s where the twist gets squeezed a bit more.

First through fourth place finishers in the Wednesday night STN Open feature will have one added bonus: a maximum of one provisional starting position into Saturday's STN Championship feature will be awarded to the top STN Open driver (that finishes 1st through 4th) who doesn't qualify for the STN Championship feature through its standard qualifying procedures! And with a whopping $2,500 just to start the STN Championship, the STN Open certainly has a lot of added value to race teams.

And for one final bonus, Dixon Road U-Pull-It is offering $2,500 to the driver who wins the Wednesday night STN Open feature race and the Saturday night STN Championship feature race – which would result in that driver taking home $20,000 for the race weekend!

With this added event, STN vendors are given a great opportunity to be in front of the race teams and fans for one extra day.

Several returning vendors have already confirmed their space, and a complete list will be provided as the event draws nearer.

The deadline for guaranteed space in the show is Monday, October 21st (of race week). Set up for guaranteed space is from 9AM-Noon on Wednesday, October 23rd (prior to the pits officially opening).

Booth space is very affordable and includes (2) 4-day pit/grandstand passes to the event, valued at $210. All vendor spaces must be paid in full prior to being allowed to stage their display in the Trade Show/Midway area on set up day.
