STN Early Entry Deadline on Friday

Lonnie Wheatley, LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (March 1, 2016) – Teams planning on mixing it up at next weekend’s 28th Annual COMP Cams Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Tires at I-30 Speedway can save an easy $100.

But the savings goes away after Friday’s early entry deadline.  Entries for the $15,000-to-win, $2,000-to-start event are just $150 if submitted by this Friday.  Entries after the March 4 deadline will be $250.

Entry forms are available at http://www.i-30speedway.com/flyers/STNFlyer_March2016.pdf.

A makeup of last October’s rainout, the 28th edition of the Short Track Nationals takes place next Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 10-12.  A Test-N-Tune session on Wednesday will precede the crown jewel event of 360-ci Sprint Car racing.

With last year’s rainout, Christopher Bell still reigns as defending Short Track Nationals champion.  Bell is among a slew of early entries that includes the likes of Sheldon Haudenschild, Randy Hannagan, Derek Hagar, A.G. Rains, Harli White, Tyler Thomas and Ernie Ainsworth among others.

All entries can compete each night with the top three from the Thursday and Friday features locking into Saturday’s finale.  Points accumulated over the course of Thursday and Friday will set Saturday’s heat race lineups.
