Stallard Chassis Officially Launches New Generation Chassis

Newark, Delaware (12/04/12) - A new era in the storied history of Stallard Chassis is well underway as the first car from the new generation chassis line has been assembled for Memphis, Tennessee racer, Howard Moore.

The new generation chassis represents the first step toward solidifying the partnership between Stallard Chassis and Eagle Motorsports.

"This is an extremely exciting time for Stallard Chassis," comments owner, Mark Stallard. "This is the first time in over 25 years that I've had my own hands involved in the construction of a chassis. Being able to be so involved has allowed me to help build one of the best pieces that we've had in a long time. I think the customers are going to really like the performance that they will get out of the new generation chassis."

It was announced earlier in 2012 that Stallard Chassis and Eagle Motorsports formed a partnership to increase frame production for the future. Speedway Motors will also be carrying a complete line of parts for the newer cars, while Stallard Chassis will continue to service the older ones. Parts can be ordered from Speedway Motors, while chassis can be ordered from either Stallard Chassis or Eagle Motorsports.

Stallard notes, "With Eagle Motorsports manufacturing the chassis we will have an unprecedented level of distribution as well as quicker availability. Our ultimate goal is to have no back log so that a customer can order a car today and have it within a few days."

While Eagle Motorsports will handle the manufacturing, it is important to note that Mark Stallard will still be designing the cars and their components.

"This move is not one that is allowing me to step away from the sport, but rather it allows me to focus more on the design of the cars now that I don't have to stress about building them. All of the chassis will be built on my templates. Eagle Motorsports provides us with top flight construction of the Stallard Chassis moving forward," concludes Mark Stallard.

Not only will Mark be focusing on designing the cars at the shop, but he will also be doing research and development at the track with 14-year-old, rookie sensation Dan Souder from Pennsylvania. Stallard spent a good deal of time working with the driver in 2012, and the rookie picked up a win as well as several top five and top ten finishes.

"By going to the track with Dan I'm getting to see firsthand what does and doesn't work. I then take this knowledge back to the shop and put it into the chassis themselves," he notes.

Mark concludes by saying, "We still have a long way to go before we make the full transition to Eagle Motorsports. We want everything to be just right before we make the complete switch. The bottom line is that we appreciate all of our great customers, and every move we make is to give them the best possible product. Our new chassis is no doubt our best product to date."
