SRRS $3000 To-Win Thursday Night Showdown at Duck River Raceway Park on Thursday June 27th, 2013

Wheel, TN (06/23/2013)- The Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) super late models will be making its first appearance in 2013 at Duck River Raceway Park on Thursday June 27th, 2013 for a $3000 To-Win 40 lap main event. Alongside the SRRS super late models racing, will see All regular divisions racing and a $700 To-Win 1st Place Prize for the Modified Streets.

Kicking off its 2nd Annual SRRS Summer Showdown, the Southern Regional Racing Series will have Round #1 of its Summer Showdown at Duck River Raceway Park come Thursday June 27th. Last year’s 2012 SRRS Summer Showdown inaugural event saw 36 super late models try their hand at taking the $3000 top prize at Duck River Raceway Park. The #T1 of Todd Morrow from Cleveland, Tennessee was the one who came out on top and victorious of the event.

The headlining SRRS super late models will be compete for a $3000 To-Win and $300 To-Start pay day in a 40 lap main event. Preliminary action will see qualifying and heat races, along with a “Quick Dash” for the top qualifiers locked into the event for the super late models.

The Modified Street division will be racing for a 1st Place prize of $700 with 10 or more modified street cars in attendance, that will be sponsored by A+ Painting, Remodeling and Roofing, and Preferred Sandblasting and Painting.

All classes will be racing that includes, Super Late Models, 2 Barrel Late Models, Modified Street, Street Stock , Pure Pony, Outlaw Pony, and Rookie Pony and all classes will be racing for points on Thursday.

Gates open at 4pm, Drivers Meeting at 6:30pm and Racing to start at 7pm CST. General Admission will be $17 Kids 6-12 $5 (Kids 5 and under Free) Pit Admission will be $30, Kids 6-12 $10 (Kids 5 & Under Free).
