Spring Nationals Series rolls into Tri-County Race Track on April 12th for $4,000 to win

BRASSTOWN, NC (April 3, 2013)—After a successful Spring Thaw at Volunteer Speedway less than a month ago, the Ray Cook promoted Spring Nationals Series will host the next double-header weekend of the 10-race mini-tour.

The Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC will be the third event on the schedule paying $4,000 to win / $400 to start on Friday Night April 12th. The support classes that night include the Crate Late Models racing for $500 to win, the Interstate Welding Modified Street division will race for $300 to win and the Street Stocks will be competing for $250 to win. A $200 bonus will be paid to the highest finishing Limited Late Model in the Spring Nationals Super Late Model event.

On Friday April 12th both grandstand and pit gates will open at 5:00 pm with the Driver’s Meeting slated for 7:00 pm and racing to begin at around 7:30 pm. Adult General Admission is $18.00 with children 11-16 admitted for $10.00 while children ten and under are admitted for Free. Adult Pit Passes are $30.00 with children 11-16 admitted for $15.00 while children under ten are admitted for Free.

This will be the first of three big Super Late Model events at Tri-County Race Track as the ground-pounders return on Monday May 27th for the $3,000 to win Memorial Day Championship and then the Tenth Anniversary running of the Tarheel 50 on Friday Night October 4th paying $3,500 to win.

Smoky Mountain Speedway continues aggressive 2013 with visit by Spring Nationals 4/13

BRASSTOWN, NC (April 3, 2013)—The Spring Nationals Series will make a stop at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, TN on Saturday Night April 13th paying $6,000 to win / $500 to start which is presented by East Tennessee Auto Outlet. In addition to the Ray Cook-Promoted tour, the American Modified Series will be in attendance paying $3,000 to win / $225 to start, the Street Stocks will race for $300 to win while the Mini Stocks will be competing for $200 to win.

This will be the second of a double-header weekend as the series will be at Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC on Friday Night April 12th for Round # 3 paying $4,000 to win.

In the first event held at Smoky Mountain Speedway on March 23rd, Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, GA held off a hard-fought battle with Ray Cook to take the $5,000 victory in the WIMZ 103.5 Rockin’ with the Stars event. Other upcoming events for Smoky Mountain Speedway include the World of Outlaws Late Model Series on Friday Night April 26th for $10,000 to win, then United Sprint Car Series on May 4th for $3,000 to win and rounding out the month of May includes a stop by the Ultimate Late Model Series paying $4,000 to win.

On Saturday April 13th the Pit gates will swing open at 3:00 pm and Grandstand/Tier Parking gates opening at 4:00 pm with Driver’s Meeting slated for around 6:30 pm. Adult General Admission is $20.00 with Adult Tier Parking $25.00 and Adult Pit Passes being $35.00.
