Smoky Mountain Speedway's Rockin' with the Stars & Tennessee Tipoff is All Systems Go for this Weekend!

MARYVILLE, TN (April 22, 2015)--Officials with Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn. are gearing up for a huge weekend of racing action this Thursday, Friday and Saturday April 23/24 and 25 and additional information regarding this weekend's events have been released.

IF WEATHER DOES BECOME AN ISSUE
Weather for this weekend's events keeps getting better as the days go by. Thursday, practice will be held and Friday includes a full show of Southern Allstar Late Models $5,000-to-win along with Limited Late Models $1,500-to-win and Sportsman $750-to-win. Latest forecast models show possible rain moving in after 2:00 am Saturday morning and moving out by mid-morning and officials are hopeful to be able to race Saturday night and will make every effort possible to get the Spring Nationals Series race in. The Old Man's Garage Spring Nat's Late Models will race for $6,000-to-win while the Crate Late Models will race for $1,500-to-win and the Street Stocks will race for $750-to-win.

PIT PASSES ADJUSTED
The track will now charge $35.00 per night for an adult pit pass, this is a new change from the price of (Friday $35 and Saturday $40) from before.

THURSDAY PRACTICE
Thursday's practice will be for all divisions before this weekend's events get kicked off. The times for Thursday's practice are from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and the concessions will have a very limited menu on Thursday night.

HOST HOTEL
The Host Hotel for this weekend's events is the Hilton Knoxville Airport located at 2001 Alcoa Highway in Alcoa, TN 37701. The rate available to Smoky Mountain Speedway customers will be $89.00 per night with two queen or one king sized rooms available. CAMPING
Fans wanting to camp at the track this weekend may do so for a $20 weekend fee. There are no hook ups available.

BREAKFAST SERVED
Breakfast will be served on Friday and Saturday mornings in the pit area for teams who don't desire to have to leave their haulers and travel back into town.
