Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series to Springfield Raceway's Season Opener

The Springfield Raceway will host the Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series for their second event of 2008.  The first event was action packed with Leslie Essary coming from his 10th place starting position to take the win at the legendary Tri-State Speedway.  2005 Rookie of the Year Contender, Jeremy Kelley, also had an impressive run with a 2nd place finish, and looks to be someone to keep an eye on for 2008.

This Saturday April 19,  fans will get to see the cars and drivers make the transition from one of the biggest tracks the series races on, to one of the smaller ones at Springfield Raceway.  As with Tri-State, the race will be action packed with a great mix of veteran drivers and many new up-and-coming rookies.

Make your plans for Saturday night April 19 – come out to see a great season-opening race at Springfield Raceway. Tickets will be $15 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12. Pit Passes will be $30. In addition to the Show-Me Series Late Models, the Modifieds, Sport Mods, Factory Stocks, Bombers and Hornets will be running. Pit Gates open at 3:00 and grandstand gates will open at 5:00pm, with Hot Laps at 6:15 pm and the races getting underway at 7:00 pm. There will be no entry fee for the Show-Me Series Late Models, except pit passes.
