Non-Qualifiers Race Added to 21st Annual Show-Me 100 Courtesy of Midwest Sheet Metal |
Wheatland, MO (December 13th, 2012) - Midwest Sheet Metal will present the Show-Me Challenge during the 21st Annual Show-Me 100, over Memorial Weekend in 2013. The marquee event is broadcast on major television networks and attracts the best drivers in all of Dirt Late Model Racing from the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil MLRA. Earlier this year Lucas Oil Speedway announced the addition of $10,000 to the overall purse. The addition of a non-qualifiers race, is a great bonus for drivers competing in the mega-event of the year. Dan Robinson, General Manager of Lucas Oil Speedway made the announcement at the "Lunch with Lucas" press conference held at the International Motorsports Industry Show, last week. "Chris Davis owner of Midwest Sheet Metal, is a great partner and supporter of Dirt Late Model Racing and stepped up to offer this event to a spectacular line-up. We couldn't be more proud to associate with Chris and his staff." A 20 lap, $2,000 to win race will take the top 24 drivers not locked into the feature event. The Midwest Sheet Metal Show-Me Challenge will pay $250 to start. The winner can chose to either take the race winnings or opt for the 30th starting position for the Show-Me 100.
