WHEATLAND, MO (June 30th, 2015) - With the final night of the 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 Presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com postponed due to rain on May 23rd with just one Late Model B-Main complete, we will pick up with the Saturday portion of the program as originally scheduled on Sunday, July 12th.
The 9th Annual CMH Diamond Nationals featuring the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, the Lucas Oil MLRA and the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds will run as scheduled on Saturday, July 11th making for a blockbuster weekend of racing.
"It was very unfortunate that we were unable to complete the event as scheduled on Memorial Day weekend but this should turn out to be one of the biggest weekends of the year in Late Model racing as the best drivers in the business run for $10,000 to win on Saturday and a whopping $30,000 to win on Sunday." stated Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson.
The 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 Presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com features the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil MLRA as Martinsville, Indiana's Don O'Neal attempts to defend his title against the Top Late Model Drivers in the country such as Jimmy Owens, Scott Bloomquist, Steve Francis, Chad Simpson, Eddie Carrier Jr., Jared Landers, Terry Phillips, Earl Pearson Jr. and more! Local favorites Jesse Stovall and Tony Jackson Jr. are slated to lead the field to the green flag from the front row on Sunday.
