Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series Set For Return To Tennessee National Raceway May 23rd
FAYETTEVILLE, TN--The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series returned to the Tennessee National Raceway in 2014 and had a very successful show with drivers, fans and the staff of the track located in Hohenwald, TN., Todd Morrow of East Ridge, TN., took the win that night coming from his 10th starting position to pass Dance Dacus late in the race. The series will be returning again this year on Saturday night May 23rd for 40 lap $4,000 to win event.
“We had a great turnout for our race last year” said series general manager Lynn Acklin. “The facility is great and fan turnout also outstanding and I would expect the same as last year even bigger.”
Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, TN., and two time series champion will lead the drivers into the event, along with Morrow, 2015 Cruise with the Champions/Dirtondirt.com rookie contender Dillon Tidmore of Glencoe, AL., Chris Wilson of Crossville, TN., Dylan Ames of Harvest, AL., Brad Skinner of Spring City, TN., David Seibers of Petersburg, TN., Mark Fields of Lawrenceburg, TN., Mark Dowdy of Florence, AL., Jeff Walker of McMinnville, TN., Dane Dacus of Lakeland, TN., plus many more.
Also there will be a full racing program E mods, modified Street, Mini Stock and Street Stock racing. Pit gates will open at 3 pm drivers meeting at 6:30pm and hot laps after drivers meeting. Admission: Grandstand $20 adults, Kids 6-12 $5, under 5 free, Pits $35 Adults, Kids 6-12 $10, under 5 free
