Safety Training Session Filling Up At Bank Plus 23rd Annual Racing Vehicle Extravaganza

December 25th, 2014 –Jackson, MS – With just a few days remaining until the 23rd Annual Racing Vehicle Extravaganza kicks off at the Fairgrounds in Jackson, MS, seating in all 3 informational seminars is filling up quickly. Organizers are working to determine if a second Driver Safety education seminar will be necessary as well as a second Track and Series Official Safety Training Session.

Representatives from the Southern All Star Dirt Late Model Series, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series, Revolution Raceway Park, Memphis Motorsports Park, and Southern Outlaw Sprinters Series have reserved multiple spaces in the Series Track Official Training Session.  Interest from additional facilities has picked up exponentially in the last week with multiple announcements expected this week.  Representatives from dryslick.net, American Medical Response, and Fire Service Plus have an unprecedented training session organized that is designed to further the safety procedures and medical attention available to competitors and fans on the weekly level.  

Event sponsor American Medical Response, the largest ambulance service provider in the United States,  will provide a paramedic field training officer to instruct on basic first aid procedures, protecting the responder, the ABC’s of first aid, correct immobilization procedures, and extracting an injured party from a dangerous situation.

Multiple event sponsor Fire Service Plus, a leader in the industrial, residential, and motor sports fire fighting sectors will make a presentation designed to educate those in attendance on multiple topics, including specially designed equipment for the motorsports industry to tried and proven fire fighting aids the company has developed over their lengthy history in the field. 

The event, scheduled for 10:30 am on January 4, 2015, is FREE with show admission to those who attend. Presenting sponsor Jiffy Tite Motorsports will provide coffee service and basic refreshments also free of charge as a way of thanking those who attend for doing their part to make grass roots racing safer for everyone.

Further information regarding the driver aimed safety seminar scheduled for Saturday will be issued momentarily.  Final information on the fuel and fuel systems based seminar will be released on Saturday, December 27th.
