Eagle Motorsports Rock 'N Roll 50 Presented by MyRacePass Returns to Riverside International Speedway This Saturday

Inside Line Promotions - OWASSO, Okla. (March 28, 2016) - The final week of preparation is underway for one of the biggest events on the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour slate.

TBJ Promotions is working diligently toward this Saturday's 8th annual Eagle Motorsports Rock 'N Roll 50 Presented by MyRacePass at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark., where the action will feature the ASCS National Tour's longest race - 50 laps - as well as 305ci winged sprint cars as the support class.

"The Eagle Motorsports Rock 'N Roll 50 Presented by MyRacePass has always been a special event to us as well as the fans in the area," TBJ Promotions Founder Tony Bruce Jr. said. "As long as the weather cooperates it is usually one of the best shows of the year."

The event draws the top national stars as well as the best from the region. However, the trophy, which is a Budweiser themed custom guitar, has stayed in Arkansas more often than the national competitors have taken it on the road.

Arkansas native Tim Crawley is a two-time winner of the event with fellow local Derek Hagar powering to a triumph as well. Seth Bergman, who competes full time with the ASCS National Tour, is the only other driver to win the finale of the event.

"The track is constantly changing so it's a challenging race both physically and mentally," Bergman said. "When you win the Rock 'N Roll 50 it's a huge accomplishment and it's well deserved."

Bergman rallied from 12th to score a trip to Victory Lane last year. He was also victorious in 2012 when the triumph was his first career with the ASCS National Tour.

"In addition to providing the usual excitement that a race at Riverside International Speedway does, the Eagle Motorsports Rock 'N Roll 50 Presented by MyRacePass has also helped springboard Seth Bergman and Derek Hagar onto the national scene," Bruce Jr. said. "We take a lot of pride in producing one of the top events each year. It will be interesting to see if another driver can make a name for himself or herself this Saturday."

Tickets for the event are discounted 20 percent if purchased before the race at http://www.TBJPromotions.com. Print a receipt and bring it to the ticket gate on the day of the event.

Also of note, the 305ci winged sprint cars will be racing in a $750-to-win, $75-to-start main event.
