Richards Wins at Paducah with Roush Yates Power

Mooresville, NC (April 15, 2013) Josh Richards found victory lane at Paducah International Raceway on Saturday night while fellow Roush Yates Dirt Late Model Engine driver Chris Wall captured a win in the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series.

Richards started on the outside front row in front of a full crowd at Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky in the National Dirt Racing League season opener on Saturday night. On lap four Richards put a slide job on pole sitter Jared Landers to take the lead with his Roush Yates 436 Ford Dirt Late Model engine. Despite a handful of cautions, he was able to pull away to take the win.

"This race was really fun tonight, and while the track was a little rough in some areas, the track crew did great," said Richards. "This car was awesome and I have to give so much credit to my crew. They really made my job easier."

Chris Wall came back from finishing second at Hattiesburg Motorsports Park on Friday night to win at Whynot Motorsports Park on Saturday. Wall started from the pole position with his Roush Yates powered 410 Ford Dirt Late Model Engine and held off series competitor David Breazeale to claim the $2,500 and his first win of the season. As the former 2006 Champion in the series, Wall is on his was to another championship with one victory, two runner-up finishes, and a fourth-place finish so far this season.
