Jeff Taylor Returns To Action At Clayhill Motorsports This Weekend

Jonesboro, Arkansas (08/26/10) – Jeff Taylor will be behind the wheel of a #5 Keith Craft Motorsports/Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified this weekend in the 2nd Annual Open Wheel Modified Motor Madness at Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tennessee.

Jeff will be piloting the Keith Craft backup car in a pair of $5,000 to win/$500 to start events at the ¼ mile oval, Clayhill Motorsports on Friday and Saturday, August 27th-28th.  Each night will consist of a complete program with three chances for the drivers to race their way into the program.  For more information on the event, please visit www.ClayhillMotorsports.com .

Jeff was last in action two weeks ago as drove Gene Kay's Open Wheel Modified at Rattlesnake Raceway in Fallon, Nevada on Saturday night, August 14th . Early in the event, Taylor was involved in a crash and went to the rear of the pack. Despite having to go to the back, he would charge back through the field to take the lead and the commanding win, or so he thought. When he got to victory lane, he was informed that he had been scored as a lap down even though the leaders never passed him. After much debate he was still only credited with a 3rd place finish.

Last weekend was a strong weekend for Taylor Chassis customers.  On August 21st Eddie Belec Jr. picked up his 5th win of the season winning the feature at I-76 Speedway (Fort Morgan, CO).

Porter Smith picked up another main event victory in his 2010 Taylor Chassis at Aztec Speedway (Aztec, NM) on Friday night, August 20th in the 3rd Annual Ryan Bard Memorial.

Bryce Jewell drove his Taylor Chassis to the heat and feature win on Saturday, August 21st at Western Kentucky Speedway in Nebo, Kentucky.
