Pro Power Racing Engines Storm Through March with Victories

Sullivan, Wisconsin (04/02/14) - From Dirt Late Models to Off Road Trucks to Dirt Modifieds Pro Power Racing enjoyed a stellar month of March as its customers recorded double digit victories.

The month opened with Johnny Scott and Stormy Scott sweeping United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) action at Southern New Mexico Speedway (Las Cruces, New Mexico) during the 20th Annual Winter Meltdown. Johnny raced his #1s Ramirez Motorsports/Pro Power Racing Engine entry to the $3,000 win on Friday night, while Stormy scored the $4,000 win on Saturday in his Pro Power Racing Engine propelled #2s Rowland Motorsports Open Wheel Modified. With the victory, which was his seventh overall of the 2014 season, Stormy also claimed the title in the Mesilla Valley Transportation Gulf Coast Border Region. Johnny Scott added another triumph to his total for the season by notching a $2,000 USMTS win at Superbowl Speedway (Greenville, Texas) on March 20th.

Other Open Wheel Modified wins during the month included Ken Schrader in USCS Modified Series competition at Tennessee National Raceway (Hohenwald, Tennessee) on March 1st, Austin Sanders winning at Bubba Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) on March 15th, and Ryan Thomas at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) on March 30th.

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) opened their 2014 campaign over the course of the March 22nd-23rd weekend at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park (Chandler, Arizona). Kyle Leduc led the charge for Pro Power Racing with a win in the Pro 4WD ranks on Saturday in his #99 Monster Energy/Toyo Tires Ford. Fellow Pro Power Racing client Greg Adler finishing in fifth. Sunday action found Adler advancing to a 2nd place finish, while Brandon Bailey came home with a fifth place finish. In the Pro 2WD ranks Saturday action saw Marty Hart registering a fifth place finish with Sunday competition finding Robbie Woods finishing fourth.

Brian Shirley outran the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) competitors and the weather to claim the $2,500 payday in the Toilet Bowl Classic at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee) on Saturday, March 8th in the event that was shortened to 9 laps by rain.

Ryan Unzicker doubled his pleasure on Saturday, March 15th at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, TN) in his new #24 Pierce/Pro Power Racing Engine by claiming a pair of wins. Unzicker started the day by claiming the $2,500 win in the rescheduled portion of the Toilet Bowl Classic. He then went on to win the evening's Weekly Racing Series Event after sweeping the program with fast time, a heat race win, and a feature win.

Other Dirt Late Model wins during the month of March included Michael Kloos parking his entry in victory lane at Montgomery County Speedway (New Florence, Missouri) on March 15th, Bobby Pierce scoring the $1,500 victory in the Shamrock 40 at Belle-Clair Speedway (Belleville, Illinois) on March 21st, and Mason Zeigler at Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Maryland) on March 22nd.
