2013 Track Schedule Set for Oklahoma Sports Park!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – February 13, 2013 – As it has every year since 1994, another season of exciting dirt track racing is set for Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada, Oklahoma as the 2013 track schedule has been released with twenty-two Saturday nights of racing action from April through the second weekend in September as well as several specials throughout the year.

As it has for nineteen years the season kicks off on the first weekend in April, the 5th-6th, with the annual running of the “Spring Fling.” The tracks weekly program of modifieds, limited modifieds, pro-street, factory stocks and pure stocks divisions will all be in competition.

The first points race is set for Saturday night, April 13th before the first special event takes place on Saturday night, May 11th with the annual running of the “Harold Leep, Jr. Memorial” featuring the Oil Capital Racing Series (OCRS) sprint cars. It will be the first of three scheduled events at the speedway with those falling on Saturday night, July 27th, and during the tracks final point’s night of the 2013 race season on Saturday night, September 14th with the running of the “OCRS Oklahoma State Championship Sprints.”  

Three huge annual special events are back on the schedule for the end of the year. They include the 19th annual “Oklahoma Dirt Championships” on September 20-21st, the second annual “Oklahoma Sport Mod Nationals” on September 26-28th and the fourth annual “Stock Car Nationals” set for October 11-13th.
Special promotions throughout the season include mechanics, powder puff and bicycle races, enduros as well as free grandstand admission for adults over 50 years of age (June 8th) and ages 25 and under (June 27th.)
