BRONCO RACEWAY PARK GIVES NeSMITH RACING ITS THIRD TEXAS TRACK

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

CARTERSVILLE, GA – Bronco Raceway Park in Cleveland, TX has signed on with the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series Late Models and the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division for the 2016 season.  The track located Northeast of Houston gives NeSmith Racing its third weekly sanctioned Texas track.

Drivers in the Bronco Raceway Park NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division will have the opportunity to compete for both a track point fund and a National point fund against drivers at other sanctioned tracks across the country using a point system that counts their best 14 weekly point totals over a 27-week season from March 21 through September 25.

“The costs of the engines in our Street Stock class were getting out of hand, and our rules were different from any other track in the area which was hurting our car count,” Bronco Raceway Park Technical Director Dennis Johnson said.  “The competitors in the Street Stock class kept asking us to go NeSmith, and we also had a lot of interest in developing a weekly Late Model class, so NeSmith Racing was also able to fulfill that need.”

Bronco Raceway Park joins Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, TX and Battleground Race Park in Highlands, TX as a part of the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series for Late Models, and Cotton Bowl Speedway will also be a part of the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division for 2016.

NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series Late Model competitors have the option of two different economical Chevrolet Performance Circle Track Engines to compete with.  The aluminum-head 400 horsepower 604 engine costs $5,795 and the steel-head 350 horsepower Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine with a 100-pound weight break costs $3,495.

The Top 10 drivers in the 2016 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series final point standings will receive checks out of the $20,000 point fund, and the 2016 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series National Champion will collect $10,000.

Bronco Raceway Park drivers in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division will also compete against other drivers at sanctioned tracks across the country using the same points system as the Late Models during the same 27-week season.  The Top 10 drivers in the point standings will collect a check from the $5,000 point fund, and the 2016 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division National Champion will receive $2,000.

NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division competitors also have the option to compete with the economical steel-head 350 horsepower $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.   Eight of the Top 10 drivers in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division point standings, including the Top 4, have a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine under the hoods of their respective race cars.

Both the Chevrolet Performance 604 and 602 Racing Engines are available for immediate delivery from NeSmith Chevrolet, Buick, GMC in Claxton, GA.  To place an order, call Tim Bland at 1-877-497-3624.  NeSmith Chevrolet, Buick, GMC is offering free two-day shipping anywhere in the USA through the end of November.
