Point leader Richie Stephens of Salem, AL took his 13th win of the season, and second-place driver Branden Harris of Molino, FL had a second-place finish. The way the points system works, Harris netted more points than Stephens and actually ended up gaining on the point leader. Stephens drove the Rocketman Race Cars Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine to victory on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS to net on a 41 and earn nine points on his 14-week point total. Stephens has 680 points at the top of the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings after 13 wins, 17 top five finishes and 18 top ten finishes in 22 races. Stephens will try to net on another 41 in his next NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division race. Harris finished second on Saturday night at Southern Raceway in Milton, FL driving the Coastal Engine and Machine Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine and netted on a 38 to gain 11 NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division points. Harris has a best 14 week total of 662 points after five wins, 12 top five finishes and 14 top ten finishes in 16 races. Harris will now try to net on a 41. Jason Jarrell of Hattiesburg, MS reached the 14 week mark of his 2015 NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division season with a best Week 16 finish of eighth on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in the Jarrell Rigged Race Cars Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine. Jarrell is third in the standings with 613 points after eight top five finishes and 12 top ten finishes in 16 races. Jarrell will be trying to net on a 25 in his next race. David Williamson of Seminary, MS is fourth in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 585 points after eight top five finishes and 11 top ten finishes in 13 races over 13 weeks, so he has one more week to earn full points. Williamson finished third on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in the Sauls Farm Ford. Bo Bailey of Milton, FL drove the L&L Construction Services Chevrolet to an eighth-place finish on Saturday night at Southern Raceway. Bailey is fifth in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 572 points after two wins, 12 top five finishes and 13 top ten finishes in 14 races over 13 weeks. Bailey has one more week to earn full points. Bubba McGhee of Atmore, AL is sixth in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 551 points after four top five finishes and ten top ten finishes in 14 races over 13 weeks. McGhee finished fifth on Saturday night at Southern Raceway in the MEC Trucking Chevrolet, and he has one more week to earn full points. Jay Geddie of Ellisville, MS drove the Geddie Tree Service Chevrolet to a second-place finish on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway and is seventh in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 545 points. Geddie has six top five finishes and 12 top ten finishes in 12 races over 12 weeks. Geddie has two more weeks to earn full points. Larry Faulk of Monroeville, AL did not compete in NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division Week 16 action and dropped to the eighth spot in the standings with 541 points. Faulk has one win, eight top five finishes and 13 top ten finishes in 14 races over 12 weeks driving the Faulk Motorsports Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine. Faulk has two more weeks to earn full points. Steve Pate of Heflin, AL drove the Pate Racing Chevrolet to a third-place finish on Saturday night at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL to move into the Top 10 of the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division point standings. Pate is ninth in the standings with 524 points after one win and 12 top five finishes in 12 races over 11 weeks. Pate has three more weeks to earn full points. Kevin Mitchell of Pensacola, FL rounds out the Top 10 in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 499 points after one win, five top five finishes and eight top ten finishes in 11 races over 11 weeks driving the Guy Brothers Roofing Chevrolet. Mitchell did not compete in Week 16 action and has three more weeks to earn full points. Kyle Rutledge of Meridian, MS was a first-time winner this season, as he topped a 23-car field on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS driving the Whynot Garage Chevrolet. Stuart Wilson of Milton, FL drove the Wilson Lumber Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine to his third NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division win of the season on Saturday night at Southern Raceway. Michael Blade of Culleoka, TN scored his first NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division win of the season on Saturday night at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, TN driving the J&M Transportation Chevrolet. Clint Vaughn of Odenville, AL drove the Bosma Farms Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine to his third win of the season on Saturday night at Talladega Short Track.
