NeSMITH LATE MODELS THREE-RACE SALUTE TO AMERICA NATIONALS UP NEXT

CARTERSVILLE, GA – The 3rd Annual Salute To America Nationals is next up for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series with three races in three days over the July 4th Holiday Weekend. The three-race tour will be Rounds 12, 13, and 14 of the 2015 NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Touring season.

First up is a 40-lap $2,000-to-win race on Thursday night, July 2 at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL, then it’s a 40-lap $2,000-to-win race at Penton Raceway in Penton, AL on Friday night, July 3. The finale will be at East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL on Saturday night, July 4 with a 50-lap $2,500-to-win race and a huge Fireworks Spectacular.

Heading an impressive entry list will be the defending and two-time NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Champion Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, TN, who also leads the point standings coming into the Salute To America Nationals. Johnson won the series’ last visit to Talladega Short Track on May 2.

Battling Johnson for the 2015 $10,000 NeSmith Late Model National Championship is Chase Edge of LaFayette, AL, who has had the Salute To America Nationals circled in red on his racing calendar all season. Penton Raceway is Edge’s home track, and he is the defending July 4th race winner at East Alabama Motor Speedway.
