NeSMITH/AR BODIES STREET STOCK DIVISION WEEK 13 PREVIEW

CARTERSVILLE, GA – After setting a NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Presented By AR Bodies single season record of seven straight wins last weekend, point leader Richie Stephens of Salem, AL will be looking to continue his winning ways and extending his streak this weekend in Week 13 competition. There are six races in three states on the Week 13 schedule.

There is a pair of NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division Week 13 races scheduled for Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS and at Northwest Florida Speedway in Baker, FL.

The four Saturday night NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division Week 13 races will be held at Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton, AL, Southern Raceway in Milton, FL, Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL and Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS.

Stephens leads the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 530 points earned in 11 weeks of racing, and he has the second highest Weekly Point Average, or WPA, among the Top 20 drivers in the point standings at 48.18 out of a possible 50. Branden Harris of Molino, FL is second in the standings with 511 points earned in 11 weeks, and the fourth highest WPA at 46.45.

Jason Jarrell of Hattiesburg, MS is third in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 475 points earned in 11 weeks of racing. Larry Faulk of Monroeville, AL is fourth in the standings with 448 points earned over ten weeks of competition, and he has the ninth highest WPA at 44.8.

Bo Bailey of Milton, FL is fifth in the standings with 446 point earned in ten weeks of competition, and has the tenth highest WPA among the Top 20 in the point standings at 44.6. Jay Geddie of Ellisville, MS is sixth in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 407 points earned in nine weeks, and has the eighth highest WPA at 45.22.

David Williamson of Seminary, MS has the seventh spot in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 401 points earned in nine weeks. Brooks Strength of Raymond, MS is eighth in the standings with 398 points earned in just eight weeks which gives him the highest WPA among the Top 20 in the point standings at 49.75.

Bubba McGhee of Atmore, AL is ninth in the standings with 396 points earned over nine weeks of competition. John Smartt of Manchester, TN rounds out the Top 10 of the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 386 points earned over nine weeks.

There are four drivers in the second ten of the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division point standings that are among the Top 10 on the WPA list. These drivers could be ones to watch in the next few weeks.

Steve Pate of Heflin, AL is 11th in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 381 points earned over eight weeks of competition, but he has the third highest WPA at 47.63. Kevin Mitchell of Pensacola, FL is 12th in the standings with 366 points earned over eight weeks, but he has the fifth highest WPA at 45.75.

Cliff Childers of Terry, MS is 13th in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 363 points earned over eight weeks, but he has the sixth highest WPA at 45.38. Joel Landers of Shelbyville, TN is 15th in the standings with 317 points earned over seven weeks of competition, but he has the seventh highest WPA at 45.29.

Drivers in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division will compete against each other nationally using a points system that will count their best 14 weekly point totals over a 27-week season from March 23 through September 27. The $5,000 National point fund will pay $2,000 to the National Champion and pay back to the Top 10 drivers in the final point standings.
