NeSMITH CHEVROLET DLMS J.T. KERR MEMORIAL RESET FOR 411 MOTOR SPEEDWAY ON AUGUST 24

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

CARTERSVILLE, GA – The $4,000-to-win 2nd Annual J.T. Kerr Memorial 40 for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series will resume at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN on August 24. The race, which was postponed by rain at the 14-lap mark, will restart at that point in the race and line-up with the running order when the caution flag was displayed.

The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division will also run its regularly scheduled $2,500-to-win 50 lap race already schedule for 411 Motor Speedway on August 24. Race fans will get to see the remaining 26 laps of the J.T. Kerr Memorial 40, plus another complete show with qualifying, heats and a main event on the same night.

The race night schedule will start out with hot laps followed by qualifying for the second race. After qualifying, the cars in the J.T. Kerr Memorial Race will line up the way they were running last Saturday at the completion of 14 laps, and run the remaining 26 laps. Then the cars will return to run heat races and the main event for the second race.

Adam Beeler of Knoxville, TN was leading the pack in the HVH CVR followed by John Cobb of Loudon, TN in the Cobb’s Auto Parts CVR and Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, TN in the NeSmith Chevrolet Special when rain forced the event to be red flagged at lap 14.

The next three races for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division will be a part of the Salute To America Nationals on July 3-5. Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL will present a $2,000-to-win 40-lap race on July 3, and then it’s on to East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL for a $2,500-to-win 50-lap race. The finale will be on July 5 with a $2,000-to-win 40-lap race at Penton Raceway in Penton, AL.
