NeSMITH CHEVROLET DLMS J.T. KERR MEMORIAL 40 AT 411 MOTOR SPEEDWAY POSTPONED

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

SEYMOUR, TN – The 2nd Annual $4,000-to-win J.T. Kerr Memorial 40 for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series at 411 Motor Speedway was postponed by rain on Saturday night. A rescheduled date will be decided upon by NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series and 411 Motor Speedway officials, and announced by early next week.

A packed house was ready to see a great show, but 14 laps into the main event, the skies opened up and dampened what was up to that point a great evening, as East Tennessee race fans, competitors and officials paid homage to the late East Tennessee Hall of Fame championship race car driver and motorsports businessman J.T. Kerr.

The show was a complete wash out, and already paid entry fees, pit area arm bands and grandstand ticket stubs will be honored at the to-be-announced make-up date for the J.T. Kerr Memorial 40. The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series will return on the to-be-announced make-up date with a complete new show of qualifying, heat races, and the $4,000-to-win 2nd Annual J.T. Kerr Memorial 40.
