NeSMITH CHEVROLET DLMS RUMBLE ON THE GUMBO POSTPONED FOR THE THIRD TIME

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

CARTERSVILLE, GA – Inclement weather forced postponement for the third time of the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Series $5,000-to-win Rumble On The Gumbo 75 scheduled for this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS. The race has been rescheduled for July 11-13.

Rain showers that fell on the track today have saturated the grounds of Greenville Speedway and another four to seven inches of rain are forecast through Friday. This makes it impossible for speedway officials to properly prepare the track for safe and competitive racing.

The next three events on the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division schedule are a Memorial Day Weekend Triple-Header on May 24-26 with three 40-lap $2,000-to-win races. These three events will be Rounds 6, 7, and 8 on the 2013 series schedule.

Hattiesburg Motorsports Park in Hattiesburg, MS will host the first event on Friday night, May 24, then the series moves to Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS on Saturday night, May 25. The finale will be held on Sunday night, May 26 at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS.
