NeSMITH PERFORMANCE PARTS STREET STOCK DIVISION ROUND UP FOR APRIL 9

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

                CARTERSVILLE, GA – Roger Flynn of Denham Springs, LA continued his winning ways in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division, posting his second win of the season on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS, and staying atop the point standings.  Flynn has 90 points after a 40-point win and a 50-point win in his first two races of the season.

                Flynn topped a 47-car field on Saturday night at WMP in an event co-sanctioned by the Mississippi State Street Stock Series.  Flynn’s first win of the season came in Week 1 at St. Tammany Raceway in Lacombe, LA.

                Jarrod Fremin of Montz, LA picked up a 40-point win on Saturday night at St. Tammany Raceway in the Fremin Racing Special to hold down the second spot in the NeSmith Performance Street Stock Division standings with 79 points.  Donnie Ellis of Kiln, MS is third in the standings with 75 points in the Moss Towing Chevrolet.

                Adam Cheeks of Columbus, MS and Kevin Spears of Fayette, AL are tied for the fourth spot in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 50 points apiece.  Cheeks took the win on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS in the Cheeks Racing Special, and Spears drove the Spears Racing Special to victory on Saturday night at Moulton Speedway in Moulton, AL topping a 21-car field.

                  Bill Sudduth of Columbus, MS, Dave Nations of Raymond, MS, and Luke Riddle of Moulton, AL are tied for the sixth spot in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 49 points apiece.  Lee Ray of Columbus, MS, Jeffrey Walker of Meridian, MS and Randall Horton of Moulton, AL are tied for ninth with 48 points apiece.

                The NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division event scheduled for Friday night at Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson Motor Speedway was rained out.  After the first two weeks of the 2013 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division season, 88 different drivers have participated in six different events.
